If someone suddenly begins criticizing the government, it doesn't necessarily mean they're acting out of FOMO, the fear of missing out. Perhaps their life has been affected by political decisions they believe were made without enough thought. Perhaps witnessing the suffering of their fellow citizens has awakened their conscience. Criticism is not hatred. A country where everyone only praises those in power can never move forward.
