$GLW $MU $SKHY $SNDK Corning just told us how much pricing power memory has: Its Q3 release says the TV, notebook and smartphone markets "have been impacted by memory pricing." Corning's Glass Innovations sales fell 3% and segment net income fell 10%. The other side of that sentence is in Micron's numbers. Its Mobile and Client unit, the memory that goes into phones and PCs, did $13.1 billion last quarter, up from $3.76 billion a year earlier, at a 90% gross margin. A year ago that margin was 36%. When a glass supplier names memory as the reason device markets are soft, memory isn't just an AI server story anymore. It's setting the price of the phone and the laptop too. Micron guides next quarter to $61.5 billion. Memory makers hold the pricing through 2027, and $MU, $SKHY and $SNDK are the ones collecting it.
