Zero Breach Toolkit: Check your phone and computer for spyware. Free and open source, it looks for known traces of Pegasus, Predator, Graphite, Candiru and other spyware using public indicators from Amnesty International, Citizen Lab, the MVT project and others. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux. For phones, it scans Android data collected with AndroidQF or local iPhone backups. To get started: 1. Install Python 3.9+, download and extract the project ZIP, then open a terminal in the project folder. On Windows, check “Add python.exe to PATH” during installation. 2. Update the indicator lists, then launch the tool: python -X utf8 scan/zero-breach-toolkit.py –update python -X utf8 scan/zero-breach-toolkit.py 3. Choose “This computer” to check your computer, or “A phone” to scan phone data. For Android, collect the data with AndroidQF first. For iPhone, create a local backup using Finder on Mac or Apple Devices on Windows, then select that backup folder. On macOS and Linux, replace python with python3. To check Safari records on macOS, give Terminal Full Disk Access first. Encrypted iPhone backups include more of the records the tool can check. Before scanning one, install the decryption dependency: python -m pip install –require-hashes -r requirements-backups.txt Updating the indicator lists requires an internet connection. Scans run offline, leave the original evidence unchanged and keep reports on your computer. Reports show the strength of each match and anything the tool couldn’t check. No matches means no known indicators were found in the data checked. https://github.com/interplains/Zero-Breach-Toolkit
