yea one of the main reasons @fomo had such a success, besides being an amazing addictive app, with great ux/ui, was its strategy of getting as many KOLs and top traders/accounts as possible into its rounds. this gave them skin in the game and aligned incentives. they had a stake in the platform’s success and every reason to market it organically and push adoption. but now, some of the biggest traders driving the most value and activity on @fomo have no stake in the platform and no meaningful incentives to remain loyal to it. so when competing platforms offer them incentives to trade elsewhere, they leave. i know many who left because they tried getting some stake in fomo’s success and stay and didn’t. u can’t expect best traders to be loyal to an app indefinitely without giving them a reason to be invested in the platform’s success. If @fomo wants to retain its top traders, it needs to realign incentives and give the people driving its growth a stake in what they’re building. this is my unbiased opinion from someone who has no stake in either platform.
