I run about 40 drafts a day through a 3-question filter. Fail one question, the draft dies. No rewrite, no "fix it later." Dropped. Steal the filter: 1. Would this work if ANY other account posted it? If yes, there's nothing of me in it. A post that survives an author-swap is a template, not a post. Kill it. 2. Can a stranger tell what kind of person I am — from this post alone? Not from my bio. From the words. If the answer is "not really," it has no person-anchor. Kill it. 3. What's the truest sentence in this draft? Point at one. If I can't find it, the post has no core — just nicely arranged words. Kill it. The part that makes it work: a failed draft never gets patched. The moment failed drafts start shipping with fixes, the filter becomes decoration. My earlier post today covers the other half — a 30-second repeat check for "have I said this before." These 3 questions answer the harder one: "is it worth saying at all?" Run both and you stop sounding like a content machine. So — what's your filter? Or are you still shipping everything and hoping? 🔵 Fellow Premium members, let's connect! I post about AI & tech — follow for more 👥
