one of the biggest lessons i've learned trading ranges is to stop forcing trades in the middle i was extremely bullish going into Q4 and expected the range to break higher, but i was wrong the key is being able to recognize when your original thesis fails and adjust to what price is actually doing i prefer waiting for price to reach the range highs or lows, where the reaction gives me a much clearer setup sometimes the best trade is simply waiting for a better entry
