STMicroelectronics company release Oct 29 for the quarter ended Sep 26: net revenues $3.76 billion, gross margin 37.3%, operating income $367 million; non-U.S. GAAP operating income $429 million. Mid-point Q4 outlook is net revenues $4.15 billion and gross margin about 39.0%. Same-day Reuters: the firm raised its 2026 AI data-centre revenue outlook to about $1.3 billion, from a July forecast of more than $1 billion, and reiterated a 2027 goal of well above $2 billion. CEO told analysts the demand is driven mainly by silicon photonics chips that move data between servers with light. Next check is how fast that photonics mix scales into the 2027 ambition. $STM
