Sometimes I feel like people find virtuous or philosophically minded people boring. Even though everyone normally praises being virtuous, I sometimes notice that bullies and bad people look cool, so everyone admires them, especially young people. For as long as I can remember, I've noticed that I'm virtuous, and I have never crossed over to the dark side in my life. If you've watched Star Wars, I'm like Anakin or Yoda on the side of good. Even though the dark side is interesting, I never crossed over to it, and I asked myself this: am I good right now because I'm powerless, or is my nature really based on virtue ethics? I don't know the answer. People often say that I'm humble and kind, but then the same people find these traits boring. People are so strange.
