“Why haven't his friends in Mexico said anything?” Because they're grieving the loss of someone they cared about. And beyond the heartbreak, there are difficult, complicated practical matters they still have to deal with. Some things need to be confirmed. Some problems need to be resolved. And certain responsibilities cannot simply be ignored. Not every silence means indifference. And nobody should be expected to explain everything to the public while going through one of the most painful experiences of their life. Please give them time. And please show some respect for the person who passed away and those who loved him. Sometimes, people stay silent not because they don't care. But because their grief is simply too overwhelming to put into words.
