When I went to Yakiniku King, I overheard this conversation at the table next to mine. Mother: “Excuse me. Could you switch seats with us?” Man: “Huh? We're still eating...” Mother: “My child keeps saying they want to sit over there.” Man: “We have a child too...” Then the mother called over a staff member and said something even more unbelievable... ↓ Mother: “Apparently, we can't switch seats.” Staff: “You'd like to change tables?” Mother: “Yes. My child insists on sitting over there. Could you move us to that table?” Staff: “We can't ask customers who are still eating to move.” Mother: “Then I'll wait until that family finishes. As soon as they leave, please move us over there.” Staff: “But your family is still eating too, right?” Mother: “That's why I said we'd wait!” That's when her husband, who had been silent the whole time, finally spoke up. Husband: “Stop making a scene. Our child never said they wanted to switch tables, did they?” Mother: “But it's freezing over here!” Husband: “Then tell the staff that. Why blame it on our child?” Staff: “I'll check whether we can adjust the air conditioning.” Mother: “...Yes, please.” Apparently, she just didn't like the air conditioning blowing directly on her. I know it's an all-you-can-eat barbecue restaurant, but I didn't realize the entitlement was all-you-can-eat too.
