As I continued painting, I found myself gradually falling in love with imperfection. The uneven colours, the accidental marks, the little flaws — somehow, they give the painting more depth and character. Like sweet chocolate with a hint of bitterness, or tea that tastes slightly astringent at first, then slowly leaves a sweet aftertaste.
