I'd like to ask my Turkish friends something. Why do so many people in the English-speaking world accuse the Turkish government of funding terrorist groups in the Middle East? They also claim that Turkey has serious problems with corruption and is a country that has been ruled by the same political family for decades. Some Americans even argue that, in a way, Turkish people have also been brainwashed by their country's national narrative. What do you think about these accusations? How much truth do you think there is to them?
