If Bitcoin adopts post-quantum signatures, what happens to the $BTC that never moves? I've been mapping post-quantum crypto projects. For Bitcoin, @r8raq's BRUTER framework caught my attention because it includes the coins left behind and the rights of people who may still control them. A wallet can sit untouched for years while its owner still has the keys. Freezing those coins could lock that person out. Leaving the old spending rules in place may leave the coins exposed if quantum attacks become viable. Getting most holders to migrate still leaves that problem. I turned his framework into a visual explainer so more people can follow the argument, including his timing assumptions and market scenarios. Would you accept a deadline for moving your own coins?
