🚨 Binance is taking action! About an hour ago, Binance’s SAFU Fund transferred 7,500 $BTC (~$581M) to another wallet. This comes shortly after @binance released Security Incident Update #3: • 90% of stolen assets replenished, up from 80%. • 10 major tokens, including BTC, ETH, BNB, and USDT, are now 100% backed. • Binance is using SAFU, Futures Insurance Funds, and its corporate treasury. • The remaining 10% consists of less liquid tokens. • SAFU will be replenished to ~$1B. • Proof of Reserves updated, with full verification expected Nov 3. • Withdrawals expected to resume Nov 1. Binance has committed to absorbing the losses, not passing them on to users.
