OpenAI is testing two flagship models at the same time and nobody's talking about how weird that is 🤯 A few days ago GPT-6.2 Bel showed up out of nowhere. Today GPT-6.2 Astra is quietly running inside Codex, with the UI still showing the old name. Two new names in one week and not a single announcement. So what's actually happening here? Maybe an internal bake-off, and whichever wins on real prompts gets the actual rollout. Could also be that Bel is the real monster and Astra is just keeping everyone busy. Someone in the replies even thinks "Bel" is just an internal tag that'll launch under a completely different name. Either way, OpenAI being this quiet makes me nervous lol
