Agents are no longer just chatting, they are getting a workplace. I read today's GitHub trending through that lens, and these five fit it best. 1. claude-mem https://github.com/thedotmack/claude-mem Persistent context across sessions for Claude Code and other agents. 109.2k stars as of 08:02 CST Nov 2, Apache-2.0. I would try it first if lost context is your daily pain, and skip it if you only run one off prompts. 2. Lightpanda browser https://github.com/lightpanda-io/browser A headless browser built for AI and automation. 40.1k stars as of 08:02 CST Nov 2, AGPL-3.0. I see it for teams that scrape or automate at scale, not for a quick one page check. 3. Claude-Code-Game-Studios https://github.com/Donchitos/Claude-Code-Game-Studios Turns Claude Code into a 49 agent game dev studio with skills and hooks. 32.2k stars as of 08:03 CST Nov 2, MIT. I would use it for a structured solo game project, and avoid it if you want a light chat helper. 4. OpenMausBot https://github.com/milind-soni/OpenMausBot An open source bot alternative with a virtual machine bots can use. 10.5k stars as of 08:02 CST Nov 2, Apache-2.0. I find the VM angle the real trial, since the cost is setup and guardrails, not the bot itself. 5. OpenBot https://github.com/CopilotKit/OpenBot Open source AI coworkers that each get a computer with browser, files and tools. 9.5k stars as of 08:02 CST Nov 2, MIT. I would test it with one narrow coworker task first, and hold off on giving it broad access on day one. For me, the workplace around the model is now the main thing to watch. #AI #GitHub #AIAgents #OpenSource
