The quantum upgrade for $BTC is also a fee story. Signature size per input: 1. Schnorr today: 64 bytes 2. Falcon-512: ~666 bytes 3. ML-DSA-44: 2,420 bytes 4. SLH-DSA (hash-based): 7,856 bytes That's roughly 10x to 120x more bytes. Miners like that as the subsidy keeps halving. People sitting on small UTXOs won't. Next thing to watch: which scheme $BTC devs settle on. That choice decides who pays for quantum safety.
