Inspired by Edgar Snow’s classic work Red Star Over China, Robert Dedman, an American college student majoring in Chinese history, came up with the idea of retracing the Long March. Joined by four young international participants from the United States, Nigeria, France and a French-Chinese youth, the five-member team embarked on this meaningful journey. Ninety years ago, Edgar Snow traveled westward to record the true story of China. Ninety years later, these global youngsters set off from Fujian, passed through Zunyi in Guizhou, and finally reached Ningxia, the final rendezvous site of the Long March. History crosses borders, and the Long March spirit resonates across time and nations. #FreshSight #theLongMarch #长征 @InZhejiang @ZhejiangToday
