living room layout, sofa edition 🛋️ my sofa used to sit in the middle of the room, back to the walkway, because i wanted to face the tv. i kept feeling on edge when someone walked behind me, so i moved it against the solid wall and angled the seats toward the entrance. what changed for me: i stopped looking over my shoulder whenever someone passed the room felt wider and easier to move through evenings felt calmer traditional feng shui talks about having solid “backing” and a clear view of the entrance. i read it as a way to reduce constant background tension. i can’t prove it does anything beyond how the room feels. where do you usually sit? does your back face the door? 👇 #homedecor #fengshui
