Give AI the words a beginner already knows, then ask for a reading passage that stays inside that vocabulary. Sam is at the gate. The gate is shut. Sam can see Kim. Kim has a key. Sam and Kim go in. The bag is on a bench. Kim can see the map. Sam can see the book.” A local word check found 52 words and no words outside the 21-word bank, ignoring capitalization and punctuation. That checks the vocabulary constraint, not the learner’s reading level. To adapt it, replace the bank with the learner’s known words and keep names in the list too.
