Measuring 24.5 cm in diameter and 2.8 cm in height, it is made of hard-paste porcelain. The plate is part of a state ministry dinner service, marked with the LN monogram crowned by Napoleon III’s emblem, along with the imperial eagle, indicating its official governmental use. The service started production under the Second Republic and was expanded during the Second Empire, later likely dispersed by official authorities.
