Your team can now pick Copilot inside JetBrains Air. Before everyone starts a cloud task, check where the bill will show up. GitHub’s Nov 3 integration lets Air use an existing Copilot subscription. Cloud tasks through Air Teams use the Copilot plan, not JetBrains AI credits. Three details are easy to miss: • Air analytics do not include Copilot usage. • Air admins can disable Copilot, but cannot set its spending limit inside Air. • You cannot choose the personal or organization Copilot plan for each individual task. For a team rollout, I would write down the payer, the place to check usage, and the person who can disable access before running a small task. A familiar task window can still sit in front of a separate billing system. Cloud use requires an Air Teams-enabled business organization, a Copilot subscription and administrator enablement. This is a documentation-based setup check, not my hands-on test. Image: GitHub’s official LOCAL-task example. It shows the agent selector, not a cloud execution or billing receipt.
