Let’s be honest. A Democratic Party viewed positively by just 29% of registered voters didn’t win this election so much as Donald Trump, with 60% disapproval, made himself and his party radioactive. But Democrats now have a historic opportunity to put forward a bold agenda for national renewal. Now is the time for big ideas and the confidence to invite Americans of every background into the conversation. Here is my suggested agenda, but there are many other great ideas out there.
